My Wildcard Saturday Picks

Saints @ Seahawks – This one is easy, Saints in a blowout.  I don’t think anyone notices that the Seahawks were one game away from being 6-10.  The Seahawks have a bad offensive line and the Saints turn it up in the playoffs.  Saints won by 15 in the regular season and they’ll win by double digits again.

Jets @ Colts – Maybe my hatred for the Jets plays a part in this one, but if the Jets defensive line can’t get a pass rush on Peyton they might as well not show up.  Peyton is one of the best in the league against the blitz, and if the Jets need to blitz to get pressure on Peyton this won’t be too much of a game.  The newly discovered Colts running game will help the play action and open things up for Jacob Tamme in the middle of the field. However, if the Jets can run the ball and control the clock this one might come down to the 4th quarter where again, the Colts will pull out the win.
