Yankees Taking Care of Their Own

Reportedly last night, Mariano Rivera inked a deal with the Yankees for two more years around thirty-million dollars.  Also, news last night of Jeter getting a contract better than the first offer which would make one think that the Jeter deal is going to get done within a matter of days.  I’m happy to here that the Yankees are looking to take care of their players that got them to the World Championships rather than let them out to dry and call it a “business move.”  I’m especially happy to see Rivera signed to two years which will most likely end his career as a forty-three year old Yankee, and all signs point to Jeter being a lifetime Yankee as well.
